Lawyer chains self to courthouse to protest sale of Nazi and KKK items at fair

CLEARFIELD, Pa. At a county fair you can usually buy hot dogs, funnelcakes and maybe a T-shirt or stuffed animal. But at Pennsylvania's Clearfield County Fair, three vendors have some very different items on sale.

They're hawking Nazi and Ku Klux Klan merchandise. And that's got a local lawyer so angry he chained himself to the county courthouse in protest.

Steve Jarrett was there about four hours, saying he's not passionate about many things, but that his relatives "died in ovens."

Jarrett was finally hospitalized for dehydration. But he's still asking a judge to block the sale of the items, saying the county gets tax proceeds from it.

The county denies that, and says it'll move to dismiss Jarrett's claim.

One of the vendors with Nazi flags says she's "proud to sell a part of history."
