Last week, Rice ordered Olmert to get our troops out of Gaza because the IDF's incursion into Rocket Land was making the U.S. look bad to their "friends" in the EU. Never mind about the victims killed or maimed by the palestinian rocketeers.
What did Israel do, what else?... we capitulated and withdrew our forces to allow Hamas to regroup and resupply.

Hamas welcomed the CondiSleeza brokered cease fire as a Victory. They also needed the time to assemble more missiles with larger warheads...to kill more Israeli children.

"Never mind" says CondiSleeza, "Uncle Sam will send you more dwindling dollars. You can buy more ambulances."

Okay, so the gruesome threesome (Olmert, Barak and Livini) smiled like naive children, and thought that Rice had somehow bribed the terrorists in Gaza... there would be a respite from the rocket attacks. Guess what? There was a respite while the Hamas leadership in consort with Hezbollah made ready for the coming Yeshiva Massacre in Jerusalem.

Almost immediately after the arab murderer had slaughtered our Sons in Jerusalem, CondiSleeza was on the phone to Olmert screaming "Restraint - Restraint - Do Not Retaliate!!!... I'll tell Tzipi how to respond...after all, she's coming to Washington, the Capital of Israel. As long as we have Washington, you don't need all of Jerusalem anyway!"

"Well, well, well Tzipi" said CondiSleeza about the massacre; "you know that this was just a "loan wolf" that did this because of the occupation, just an unfortunate isolated incident...no need for further bloodshed - you understand don't you?" "Of course" said Tzipi grimacing as ConciSleesza twisted and tightened the grip on her wrist.

"Now lets talk about Ehud's mistaken authorization to build more apartments for the growing Jewish population in the Jerusalem suburbs... don't you know that we don't want more Jews in Jerusalem? Can't you see that restarting construction at Givat Zeev could derail the peace process again and ruin George and my chance for the Nobel Peace Prize?

Here is what you will do as a result of the unfortunate attack on the boys school... you need to focus! It's not helpful to the process unless you keep focused on moving the political process forward and you Will speed up the implementation of the Roadmap now won't you? Once that is in place, all of your problems will be over ("Yes thought Rice as she twisted Livini's wrist, there won't be an Israel to worry about.") Now smile nicely for the cameras (photo above).

If that wasn’t the factual conversation, it was nevertheless, obviously on target. Rice, George Bush and Olmert are so narcissistic that they will do anything to go down in history as the great peacemakers of the twenty-first century. First the "Roadmap" and then the debacle at Annapolis will seal the fate of Israel and reserve their immortal places in the history books (or so they think... they obviously don't know Israelis very well, or do they Tzipi?).

Isn't it time that someone in Israel stood up for Israel, our land and our heritage? "If not now, when?"

Bush: Jews in Yesha an Impediment to Talks

(IsraelNN.com) United States President George Bush has said that he will tell Israel to remove unauthorized Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria during his visit to the region next week. Unauthorized communities and the expansion of existing, authorized communities “can be an impediment to success,” Bush said.
Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has agreed to freeze construction in Jewish cities in Judea and Samaria, and recently announced that all building plans in the area require his approval. Olmert has frozen construction even in “settlement blocs” such as Ariel that most governments have insisted will belong to Israel in any agreement to establish an Arab state in Yesha.

Blogmaster’s Rant: Just who the hell does President George W. Bush think he is?... Perhaps the question should be “Just Who the Hell Does Israel Think He is?

George Bush has done more damage to Israel and caused more unnecessary loss of Jewish Lives than any other U.S. President I can remember. The only admitted and avowed U.S. President who openly hates Israel and shows his anti Semitism is the peanut farmer, Jimmy Carter. Even Carter did not cause as much pain in Israel.

But, seriously now, why does Israel allow a foreign president to come into the country and dictate what Israel must do (naturally he will put an “Or Else!” into the equation).

Bush wants to uproot thousands of Israelis, destroy their homes, and make them refugees! To what end… the establishment of another hostile Arab state, which this time would literally cut Israel in half!

Bush’s lapdog, Ehud Olmert has Kissed Bush’s touches again in front of the whole world and frozen construction on Jewish land meant to house Israel’s growing population. In what other country does the President or Prime Minister dictate that no construction can take place without his express approval? Not even in Russia is such a thing tolerated!

Olmert and Bush are both racing towards the destruction of Israel as a Jewish State. What I find most frustrating is that the citizens of Israel are allowing Olmert and his out of control government to turn Israel into either a dictatorship or a banana republic. Doesn’t anyone dive a damn about the future of Irael?

You can get to the point of frustration repeating the same mantra over and over. Listen to me carefully: leadership is lacking in the United States and in Israel. Current "leadership" is deplorable. Politics has become a play with politicians playing clowns, felons, liars, cowards and fools. Leaders cant or won't lead, and we dance to their tunes like trained bears. Ehud Olmert, Shimon Peres and other inept traitors should have been indicted long ago. Their efforts have been to appease the enemy or cover up their own high crimes and misdemeanors. Their only plan is to give away parts of Israel.
Negotiating for something real in return is out of the question. Israel dances and the world shouts "faster." Prime Minister Olmert continues with plans to dismantle Israel one settlement at a time. Who's stopping him? Washington eagerly supplies Arabs with up-to-date weapons and state-of-the-art training. With the "friends" of Olmert, Israel doesn't need enemies. I wonder, despite talk of "peace," are they complete idiots, insane or what? Do they really believe that another state on their border would be a peaceful partner? As a sovereign nation, Palestine would have the right to place weapons within striking distance of Israel's major cities.
Fatah-controlled TV regularly broadcasts that every Israeli city will be "liberated" because its "identity is Arab." Announcements in English demand a two-state solution, while in Arabic, death is promised. Death and more death to the Jews. They never hide their plans. They consider Jews the occupiers of their land. Why would Israel, George Bush or Condoleezza Rice "make peace" with an evil entity that has no intention of ever making peace?
Everyone knows that the objective of these "peace talks" is the eventual destruction of Israel. Does anyone truly think otherwise? I'm at the point where I don't even want to read the newspapers or listen to mainstream media. I can't blame it all on President. Bush, though. Most of the problem is due to the moronic behavior of Israel's corrupt leadership.
For instance, if it were up to me, I'd take drastic measures to wipe Gaza off the map in the name of self-defense. I would cut off all supplies - gas, oil, electricity, food, water, money, medicine and everything else that I could think of. Statehood is the last thing I would seek to provide them with. Transferring the population to Jordan is a better idea.
Despite the daily terror attacks and bombs lobbed across the line into Israel, Israel refuses to invade Gaza. They fear that the Palestinian Authority would stop supplying Israel with gas from a field discovered by Israel in 2000. This field, with an estimated worth of $4 billion, was given as a gift by then-Prime Minister Ehud Barak to the PA. Now, this "gift" is being developed with British Gas. Ariel Sharon opposed the deal. He knew the revenues would be used to fund terrorism. Present Prime Minister Olmert is going along with it anyway.
What gives Olmert the power to give away a country? Does "democracy" in Israel allow incompetent leaders to open the jails and release terrorists in regular "good will gestures?" As I write this, Olmert is planning to release 400 hundred terrorists in another futile attempt to prop up Mahmoud Abbas.
Security is no longer an issue. Attacks on Israel are gauged by the needs of the international public forums. One recent release of 255 Fatah terrorists was dependent upon their promise not to murder Israelis. Most of those released had been convicted of attempted murder or the placement of bombs. So, they were released. All except for one brilliant terrorist who stayed in jail so he could continue to receive free medication for his arthritis.
Did I also mention that the prisoners were given a three-month "trial period" during which they promised to avoid all terrorist activities? After that, they would be removed from the "fugitive" list. Later, according to one report, they would receive new weapons from the PA. Our US Postal Service has okayed a Muslim stamp. At the same time, the ACLU is probably trying to block issuance of Christmas and Easter stamps. But let's not be politically incorrect. Our cities are becoming third-world communities with the influx of illegals, because my President favors a "guest worker" program. So, why am I expecting Israelis to march by the millions in protest of what they see happening in their country?
Gaza needs Israeli gas? Now that's really comical. Israel, the size of New Jersey, is constantly denounced as a threat to 22 Arab nations. Combined, these countries are larger than the European Union. Fifty-six Muslim countries that cover almost one-third of the Earth's land mass are unbelievably rich from oil, none of which seems to find its way to Gaza.
Has anyone watched what Fatah and Hamas have been doing to each other? To celebrate the memory of Yasser Arafat, the father of terrorism, a new building was erected as a memorial costing upwards of two million dollars. But the "refugees" dip into the till of the United States Treasury (pardon me, the United Nations Treasury) for more subsidies.
The lack of leadership and the blind stupidity of countries that follow these "leaders" are sucking the strength and energy out of us. Somehow, stupid and crazy has become the norm. To keep on giving and giving and getting nothing in return, not even recognition of the right to exist, is ludicrous. And all the while, they keep demanding more and more. Annapolis? No thank you.
The inept leadership of both the US and Israel must not be allowed to rewrite history. They ignore the lessons of history and are simply going to repeat past mistakes. The Roadmap to Hell had the pretense that it was for peace. Now? The only goal is the creation of a terrorist state whose aim is to destroy its neighbor Israel.
In addition, this state will cost Israel about 90 billion dollars in relocation costs for Jewish citizens. The increased cost of security would put a huge dent in Israel's budget. The Annapolis plans could bring Zionism to an end. Israel as a Jewish State might not survive. Where are the masses? Millions in Israel should be marching to stop this madness.
Let me end on a high note. This year, Islam and Judaism celebrated their holiest holidays by overlapping for ten days. During this time, Muslims racked up 397 dead bodies in 94 terror attacks in ten countries. Jews? We celebrated our 159th Nobel Prize winner. I rest my case.

An egregious insult to Israel needs to be addressed-

At the Annapolis Conference, the Saudi delegation informed State Department representatives that they would not enter the hall where the negotiations were to take place if the "Jews/Israelis" used the same entrance. The Israeli delegation was forced to use a secondary entrance to appease the Saudis. This was an egregious insult to a friendly nation and ally and should not be allowed to stand.

The letter below was emailed and faxed to President George W. Bush. I hope that all who love and support Israel will also demand an apology, an explanation, and remedial action to insure that such an incident will Never Again take place. Dear President Bush,

When we hosted the Annapolis Summit, the State Department committed an egregious act of apartheid, contrary to all American ethics and values. When the Saudis advised State that they would not enter the proceedings in the hall by the same door used by the Israelis, we humiliated Israel by directing them to enter through an alternate entrance.

Please tell me what the difference is between this act and having "White Only Bathrooms", or "No Colored Served Here"
signs in the United States. Has the influence of the Sword of Islam reached so deeply into our Government that we
click our heels and shout "Ja wohl, mein Führer" when the Saudis voice their demands?

This is America and we all use the same drinking fountains, the same bathrooms, and the same doors and if the Saudis had a problem walking through the same door as a Jew, then I suggest that they should have been advised to either enter via the designated entrance like everyone else, or take their marbles and go home. The influence welded within our Government by Arab interests is a national disgrace!

As a registered Republican and one who always votes, I would appreciate your response. Please do not attempt to justify the aforementioned incident. What took place was unconscionable in a free and democratic society. What I would like to see is a public apology for this unprecedented snub, and what steps your administration intends to take to see to it that this type of blatant pro-Islamic Anti-Semitism Never Again takes place on your watch.

In reaction to the opening session at the Annapolis Peace Conference, the following statement was issued by the leadership of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America (aka: the “Orthodox Union”) the largest Orthodox Jewish umbrella organization in the United States, in reaction to the statements made by Israeli Prime Minister Olmert and Palestinian President Abbas, as well as the Joint Understanding of the two leaders announced by President Bush:

Amid the commendable efforts by President Bush and Secretary Rice to settle the Israeli-Arab conflict, we are deeply concerned that this latest effort has been launched with a focus more on speed than substance. The Palestinian leadership appears more committed to regaining control of Jerusalem than on restraining terrorists in both the West Bank and Gaza.

We are also concerned that Israeli Prime Minister Olmert did not explicitly resist Palestinian President Abbas’ claim to a piece of Jerusalem. In fact, Mr. Olmert indicated in his address that “the reality created in 1967 will change greatly” and that such a process “is inevitable.” We disagree – the re-division of Jerusalem is not inevitable, nor is it necessary.

In addition, we are deeply troubled that the “Joint Understanding” issued by the Israeli and Palestinian leaders refers to a mutual commitment to “confront terrorism...whether committed by Palestinians or Israelis.” There has been no Israeli action against Palestinians that can possibly be equated with the suicide bombings, roadside shootings, or rocket attacks that have been inflicted on thousands of Israelis in the past several years. The onus for restraining terror is squarely on the Palestinians – and they have so far failed miserably to do so.

"The Shame of It"

Bad enough that enemy of Israel Jimmy Carter libels us with charges of apartheid. Does our own prime minister have to join the chorus, even by implication?

Coming home from Annapolis, he gave an interview to Haaretz; it is being widely cited as saying that we run the risk of becoming an apartheid state. What he actually said was:

"If the day comes when the two-state solution collapses, and we face a South African-style struggle for equal voting rights (i.e., for the Palestinians in the territories), then, as soon as that happens, the State of Israel is finished.

"The Jewish organizations, which were our power base in America, will be the first to come out against us because they will say they cannot support a state that does not support democracy and equal voting rights for all its residents."

This is not quite a charge of apartheid (which involves full social separation and a great deal more than voting rights), but is too close for comfort with the reference to South Africa and the inference that is being drawn.

This is a sort of moral blackmail that Olmert is attempting, and it is outrageous: You have no choice, he is telling Israelis, except to support my "peace" efforts or we're going to be vilified by the world for our policies.

My response here is two-fold. First, even if you believe that a two-state solution is ultimately the answer, it is possible to recognize that this is not the time to pursue that path because the PA doesn't have its act together. There would be scant vilification from the Western world (and Jewish organizations!) if we handled ourselves properly and said, "we want fairness for all, but look...look at the evidence that the PA is supporting terrorism still, and that there is no civic society. We cannot in good conscience bring the Palestinian state into being under such circumstances -- it will do the world no good if we assist in establishing a terrorist state."

What kind of craziness is it, that we have to worry about Palestinian voting rights when they are seeking to destroy us still?

But instead, this is what Olmert said in that interview:

"...we now have a partner. in Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. He is a weak partner, who is not capable, and, as Tony Blair says, has yet to formulate the tools and may not manage to do so."

And yet, says Olmert, he has to try and will help Abbas. This creates incredible risk for Israel. Especially with the horrendous arrangements that have been made: establish a state in principle for the Palestinians and then wait for them to dismantle terror. And keep in mind that Israeli officials are already uneasy that the new US envoy, Gen. James Jones, has a reputation for being cold to Israel and is expected to lean on us to cut the PA slack.

Then it must be noted here for about the hundredth time, that there are other means of giving rights to the Palestinians without creating a Palestinian state. Models that are serious exist today, most notably Benny Elon's Israel Initiative. More and more it is recognized that Jordan -- which has a majority Palestinian population and was originally carved from the Mandate territory on which Britain was to establish a Jewish homeland -- has a responsibility here. In 1949 when Jordan occupied Judea and Samaria, the Arabs living there were given Jordanian citizenship. In 1988, with the Intifada, Jordan revoked their citizenship and renounced any responsibility for the Arabs in Judea and Samaria. This was so they could do battle with Israel and make their claim to have their own independent state. (Hard to claim when they are Jordanian citizens.)

Well, the "Palestinian state" business didn't pan out. The Palestinians have not established the civic infrastructure that is necessary for a state, have not developed their economy (in spite of mind-blowing handouts from the international community), and have not educated for peace. Time to rethink the situation. Whether we speak about federation of certain areas with Jordan, or autonomous Arab enclaves in Judea and Samaria, where there would be local elections and then national enfranchisement via Jordan, it becomes more and more obvious that Jordan must be involved.

Also most infuriating is the implication in Olmert's stance that we need the Palestinians to have a state -- that it's in our best interest. This, too, is a horrendous negotiating stance. Abbas doesn't have to make concessions, he's helping us merely by agreeing to work on that state. Hey, we want them to have a state? We'd better give them what they think they need to establish it -- half of Jerusalem, all of Judea and Samaria, etc. etc.

It should be the other way around, with the Palestinians petitioning us to give them something they want.

The issue of apartheid also raises its head in another context at this time. I had alluded the other day to the fact that the Saudis insisted they and the Israelis enter the main assembly room for the meeting in Annapolis via different doors. I referred to this in the context of the on-going hostility of the Saudis.

Caroline Glick, however, very properly carries this one step further: The separation of Jews from Arabs at the conference was an expression of the apartheid policies of Saudi Arabia. (Jews -- and certainly people carrying Israeli passports -- are not allowed into Saudi Arabia at all.) And, she says, it was the Americans who went along with this, refusing to let the Israelis enter via the same door.

Indeed the pitiful, pitiful shame of this, too. And Bush has the gall to speak about bringing democracy to the Middle East.

I reported recently that the US had put a resolution before the UN Security Council seeking support for the Annapolis proceedings without first running it by Israel, which was taken by surprise. Israel does not want UN involvement.

The US has now withdrawn its resolution, saying that Israel and the PA must first be consulted. Reportedly, PA officials were not happy about this, but the US began to realize what might be involved and thought better of it.

After meeting with Mubarak in Cairo today, Abbas made a statement to the press in which he reiterated his refusal to recognize Israel as a Jewish state: "From a historical perspective, there are two states: Israel and Palestine. In Israel, there are Jews and others living there. This we are willing to recognize, nothing else."

Once again the apartheid issue is relevant: Pray tell, who else besides Arabs would live in the Palestinian state as projected? Please note that while Israel is expected to make room for Arabs, no one expects the Palestinian state to incorporate a minority Jewish population.

Uri Orbach, writing in YNet has it right when he says the Arabs want two states for one people. "They don’t think the Jewish people deserves its own state. They are generous enough to accept one state that would be designated for Palestinians only, and another state that would be designated for the 'Israeli people.'

"The Israeli people will bring together Jews, Muslims, and members of various other religions; a state and a half for one people, and half a state for the other people."

Let's do role reversal, he suggests. We'll keep Israel for the Jewish people only, then let's have a second state, but it wouldn't only be for Arabs, we'd have the right of return for Jews to places like Gush Katif. As tongue-in-cheek as this is, let me tell you that the Jewish residents of Gush Katif lived there perhaps 10 or 15 times longer than many of the so-called refugees claiming return ever lived in Israel.

And let me digress just a bit to point out that Abbas has it absolutely wrong. From a historical perspective there are NOT two states. Only Israel. For 3,000 years there has never been any autonomous nation or state in this territory except for the Jewish state. There has NEVER BEEN a Palestinian state.

This is the sort of deliberate distortion that the Palestinians routinely repeat in the expectation that the lies will be accepted at face value. Unless we vigorously challenge them, they become absorbed into public consciousness.
