For the second time in less than a week, a packed Brooklyn, New York, synagogue has been the target of threats of violence by intruders.

On Monday, according to Yeshiva World News, an Arab man in his mid-30s entered Boro Park's 'Sephardish Shul' and began making proclamations of jihad. Members of a Jewish volunteer security organization, the Shomrim, apprehended the threatening individual. They held him until police officers arrived at the scene, arresting the suspect. Detectives spoke with the "Middle Eastern man" at a station house near the synagogue....

Just two days earlier, a man wielding a butcher's knife burst into a Kerestir Chassidic synagogue in Williamsburg. He initially turned up unarmed and began throwing soda cans at the gathered worshipers, which hit one of them, and returned shortly thereafter with the bladed weapon.
The attacker was prevented from using the butcher's knife on anyone by a young man, described as a "friend" of the knife-wielding intruder, who then fled together with him.

The recent attacks come just over a month after Chabad-Lubavitch World Headquarters at 770 Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn was targeted in a series of English-language jihadist videos posted on the Internet. The videos and accompanying texts singled out "770," but also intimated that all Orthodox Jewish organizations were equally worthy of attack by Muslims. The threatening material included images of the 770 synagogue and study house, pictures of the police van out front, and indications of which parts of the building are crowded at what times.

The source of the thinly-veiled threats, a group called Revolution Muslim, is domestic to the United States.

“Thank you very much.

It’s a privilege for me to be here in this beautiful city Jerusalem, the capitol of the only democracy in the entire Middle East. When I was a teenager I lived some years here in this city and after that I visited Israel more times than I can count. Israel: the only country in the region with a functioning parliament, a rule of law and free elections. The only country in the region that shares the values of our Western societies, in fact is one of the foundations of our Judeo-Christian identity.

We are here to voice our concern over the growing Islamisation of the West. We do this in this city, the city of David. The city that, together with Rome and Athens, symbolizes our ancient heritage.

Perhaps a few of you may be new to Jerusalem, yet, Jerusalem is not new to any of you. We all carry Jerusalem in our blood, in our genes. We all live and breathe Jerusalem. We talk Jerusalem, we dream Jerusalem. Simply because, the values of ancient Israel have become the values of the West. We are all Israel, and Israel is in all of us.

This city is the capital of a democracy under threat. Israel is under siege, like the Jewish community in the Land of Israel is under siege for over a century now. Israel with all its glory and splendour is unique, and its history unparalleled. Yet, Israel’s security situation is not unique, and neither is its enemy.

Samuel Huntington writes it so aptly: “Islam has bloody borders.” Israel is located precisely on that border. This tiny country is situated on the fault line of Jihad, just like Kashmir, Kosovo, the Philippines, Southern Thailand, Darfur in Sudan, Lebanon, and Aceh in Indonesia. Israel is simply in the way of the Islamic advance. Just like West-Berlin was during the Cold War.

Israel is simply receiving the blows that are meant for all of us. If there would have been no Israel, Islamic imperialism would have found other places to release its energy and its desire for conquest. Therefore, the war against Israel is not a war against Israel. It is a war against the West. It is Jihad. Thanks to Israeli parents who see their children go off to join the army and lie awake at night, parents in Europe and America can sleep well and have pleasant dreams, unaware of the dangers looming.

At present the front-line of Jihad runs not just through the streets of Tel Aviv and Haifa, but through the streets of London, Madrid, and Amsterdam as well. Jihad is our common enemy, and we better start facing Jihad before it is too late.

Therefore, if we voice our concern over the Islamisation of the West, we have to do it here, where our civilization borders on Islam. Where Jihadists fire Qassams into civilian homes in Sderot and Ashkelon, and where a doctor like Aryeh Eldad is characteristic of our civilization by treating terrorists the same way as he treats the Israeli victims. I salute Professor Eldad for his work for humanity, and for his patriotism. And I thank him for hosting this conference in this great city. Aryeh, I am proud to be your friend.

I will say a few things about the Islamisation of Europe and my film Fitna. I will use some examples from the Netherlands, because they are indicative for the situation on the continent.

The mass migration to the Netherlands continues full-speed ahead. Currently, a staggering number of new immigrants arrive every year, many of them Muslim, often uneducated, if not illiterate, bringing along with them the local customs of the mountains and deserts of backward Islamic countries. Thousands and thousands of Muslims arrive in the Netherlands every year, while already one million Muslims are living in our tiny country.

There are many problems concerning this massive influx: immigrants are overly represented in social benefits and crime statistics and the overall costs are staggering. The financial costs of mass immigration in the Netherlands exceeds 100 billion euro’s.

But what we have to fear most is the creeping Islamisation, the stealth Jihad. Because every Islamic neighbourhood, every Islamic shop, every mosque, every Islamic school, every burka, every veil is regarded by many Muslims as building blocks towards a larger goal, towards domination.

This is in fact the essence of the problem. Not crime, not even the financial burden. The biggest problem is the demographic development, and the way it influences our society at large. Immigration from Muslim countries and the demographics will result in the Eurabia that the brave Bat Ye’or is warning about. It will become reality if we don’t act now.

A decade and a half ago, a then-unknown American politician used the following slogan in his political campaign: “it’s the economy, stupid.” From now on the motto of my party will be: “it’s demographics, dumbo”.

More than 40 years ago a British politician gave a famous speech. He stated that, looking into the future, he saw “rivers of blood” as a result of the uncontrolled influx of immigrants. Enoch Powell’s speech was the starting point of a debate on mass immigration in Europe. As usual, the leftist establishment labelled him an extremist and his career went down. But the British people loved him, and supported Powell. London’s dock workers took him to their hearts, marching by the thousands in support of Mr. Powell.

Looking back, I share Enoch Powell’s alarmist views on mass immigration, but “rivers of blood” is not something I see happening. We will not face civil war. Our political elite is trying to make us believe that the influx of Muslim immigrants is similar to the waves of immigration that took place centuries ago. Or they say that “Christianity developed towards modernity, and therefore Islam will do the same.”

How are we to remain a democracy if a large part of the growing Muslim population is in favour of introducing sharia law? How is Amsterdam to remain the gay capitol of Europe if gays are regularly beaten up by non-Western immigrants, often Muslims? How are the Jewish communities of Europe to survive with a growing presence of an ideology that is so blatantly anti-Semitic? How are we to remain a centre of cultural and scientific excellence if Islam opposes art, and academic exploration? How are we to remain an open and tolerant society if we are faced with part of the Muslim community favouring self-segregation and showing no desire for assimilation? How can we look to the future with confidence, when a large part of the population turns to a 7th century desert for answers?

These are the questions the multiculturalists don’t want to answer.

Instead of providing leadership our political elite fooled us by using our own principles against us. I will give you five examples.

First. Our tolerance is used as an argument to bring in more Islam, to bring in more Muslims, and a way to tell us that we should not criticize their Islamic culture, if you do you are labelled intolerant and racist.

Second. Democracy. A growing Muslim electorate is too hard for politicians to resist, so they give in to their grievances and demands to win their vote. Before long sharia law will be introduced, legally and democratically, by means of majority vote. The former Dutch Minister of Justice once said that sharia law could be part of the Dutch legal system if a two third majority of the population would be in favour of it.

Third. Our religious freedom is utilized by an ideology that has no plans whatsoever to play by our rules, yet demands the same rights our traditional religions have had for centuries;

Fourth. Our welfare state that once was the envy of the world, now functions as a magnet for a lot of non-Western immigrants, dreaming of a cushy life in wealthy Europe.

Fifth. Our open borders came to symbolize our open mindset, an example of our cosmopolitan hospitality. But now we have lost control of our borders and we can’t even keep track of who is entering our countries, let alone prevent them from entering.

Our Western principles are hollow if they are not accompanied by a desire to sustain our culture and our civilization, based upon knowing who we are and where we come from. We are not from Saudi-Arabia. We are not from Iran. We come from Rome, Athens and Jerusalem. That makes our civilization special, and certainly worth preserving.

In spite of all that, the political elite are still madly in love with their pet project, the multicultural society, as they call it romantically. Apparently they don’t live in the neighbourhoods that are turning Islamic. They will tell you “they are nice people. I don’t see the problem?” The Muslim immigrant’s demands sound reasonable to them, like: “let us have an extra-large mosque.”

It is very difficult to remain optimistic in the face of the growing Islamisation of Europe. The tide is turning against us. We are losing on every front. Regarding the demographics, Islam is gaining momentum. The ruling elite is even proud of the Muslim immigration. After all, this way they can show everyone that they are not racists. Academia, the arts, the media, trade unions, the churches, the business world, the entire political establishment have all converted to the suicidal theory of multiculturalism and cultural relativism.

Cultural relativism is the biggest disease modern day Europe suffers from. Not all cultures are equal. Our Western culture is better than the Islamic culture. In the words of the brave Dr. Wafa Sultan: “It is a clash between civilization and backwardness, between the civilized and the primitive, between barbarity and rationality.” Indeed also here in Israel you are not fighting a territorial war, it’s not about territory it’s about ideology. The Islamic ideology does not seek cooperation or assimilation but aims for submission and dominance over non-Muslims. There is no moderate Islam, there will never be a moderate Islam. There might be moderate people who call themselves Muslim, but there is no moderate Islam.

Leftist journalists and leftist politicians hasten themselves to label anyone critical of the Islamisation a “right-wing extremist.” The entire establishment has sided with Islam. Leftists, liberals, and Christian-Democrats are now enslaved to Islam. They are Dhimmis. Lenin once labelled ignorant people that unknowingly aided his cause “useful idiots.” Well, the West is now full of these “useful idiots,” and they are even proud of it.

Now some words about my film, Fitna.

I felt I had the moral duty to educate people about Islam and the Islamisation of Europe. The duty to make clear to everyone that the Koran stands at the heart of what some people call terrorism but is in reality Jihad. I wanted to show that the problems of Islam are at the core of Islam, and do not belong to its fringes.

I have warned against the dangers of the Koran and Islam in numerous interviews, opinion articles, speeches and of course parliamentary debates, but pictures often say more than words. That is why I made Fitna.

Fitna is a documentary that shows what is being done in the name of Islam. Without placing all Muslims into the same category, I think I have succeeded in showing that the Koran is not some dusty old book, but that it is still used today as a source of inspiration for, and justification of hatred, violence and terrorism across the world.

A few weeks ago the world has once again seen what Islam is capable of. In Mumbai, Jihadists separated Muslims from non-Muslims, according to a witness in a Belgian newspaper. The non-Muslims, the Kaffirs, were subsequently shot. The terrorists also went straight for the tiny Jewish centre in Mumbai, where, according to reports made to an Indian news website, they horribly tortured Jewish people before brutally murdering them.

Most of the Western media stick to naming the culprits as being members of “separatist movements.” In doing so, they are missing the main point and are unjustly ignoring the Islamic nature of the terror attacks. After all, if it is a conflict about borders, why are they killing Jews in Mumbai? Why, in a city of tens of millions, find the Jihadists the shortest way to the only rabbi in town – in order to kill him and his wife? Why are Israel’s enemies always shouting “Allah hoe-Akbar” and “kill the Jews” if all they want is peaceful coexistence and mutual understanding? Maybe, I’m just guessing, is it because they have an ideology that tells them to kill Jews, to kill unbelievers, and to advance Islam until there is world domination. Islam, after all divides the world in a dar-al-Harb, and dar-al-Islam. Islam is a totalitarian ideology full of hate, violence and submission.

From the day the plan for my short film was made public it caused quite a stir, in the Netherlands, in Europe and across the world. First there was a political uproar, with government leaders across the continent in sheer panic. The Dutch Minister for Foreign Affairs called on me to abandon my film project. The Minister of Justice let it be known that post hoc criminal proceedings could be initiated if the movie was shown. The Dutch government investigated the possibility of having Fitna banned in advance. The Dutch branch of the Islamic organization Hizb ut-Tahrir declared that the Netherlands was due for an attack. Internationally there was a series of incidents. The Taliban threatened to organize additional attacks against Dutch troops in Afghanistan and a website linked to al Qaeda published the message that I ought to be killed, while the Grand Mufti of Syria stated that I would be responsible for all the bloodshed after the screening of the film.

In Afghanistan and Pakistan the Dutch flag was burned on several occasions. Dolls representing me were burned as well. The Indonesian President announced that I will never be admitted into Indonesia again, while the UN Secretary General and the European Union issued statements in the same cowardly vein as those by the Dutch government. I could go on and on. It was an absolute disgrace, a sell out. It was treason to our Western principles, it was treason to freedom of speech, it was treason to liberty itself. My own government was not defending me, but became my worst enemy in the process.

Because of Fitna, the State of Jordan is currently litigating against me. Jordan wants to prosecute me for blasphemy, demeaning Islam and slandering the Prophet Muhammad; violations of the Jordanian Penal Code, even though the alleged violations did not even occur in Jordan. As you all know, Jordan is a non-democratic country, without an independent or impartial judicial system and without a strongly developed civil society. According to a recent study by Human Rights Watch, torture is a routine and widespread practice in Jordan.

Jordan’s attempt to prosecute me is an infringement on the sovereignty of my country, the Netherlands. It is an infringement on freedom of speech. Jordan’s attempt is in fact a hostile act towards freedom itself.

If Jordan succeeds in prosecuting a democratically elected member of a Western parliament, what kind of precedent would that set? But it’s not about me. The principle is not Geert Wilders. If you look at the press and the rest of the political elite in the Netherlands, nobody cared. Nobody gave a damn. This was the worst thing. A non-democratic country like Jordan cannot use the international or domestic legal system to silence anyone. If this starts, if we allow this, we can get rid of all parliaments, and we should close down every newspaper, and we should shut up and all pray to Mecca five times a day.

But there is some hope. For instance, there is some hope with the middle class workers. Underneath the empty bravado of the elite, the middle class worker, the average Joe, is starting to realise that there is something terribly wrong with Islam. In the Netherlands, 60% of the population considers mass immigration to be the worst mistake since the Second World War. And an equal 60% sees Islam as the number one threat to our national identity. But the Freedom Party is the only political party in the Dutch parliament that shares their view.

And there is hope that political parties critical about the Islamisation of the West are gaining momentum all over Europe, are getting stronger. And we will work together with common legislation, with common initiatives, perhaps even with a common group in the European parliament as defenders of the West, defenders of our culture, defenders of our identity, defenders of our freedom.

We need a new way of thinking, a new paradigm, to defend our liberties. Just reiterating our devotion to tolerance and democracy is not good enough, as we are facing Jihad. We need a new set of goals and ideas. We need new leaders. And we should always remember where we come from. We all come from Jerusalem.

Let me wind up. The essence of my short speech today is that Europe is in the process of Islamisation, and that we need to fight it. Because if we don’t fight the Islamisation, we will lose everything: our cultural identity, our democracy, our rule of law, our liberties, our freedom. We have the duty to defend the ideas of Rome, Athens and Jerusalem. The ancient heritage of our forefathers is under attack; we have to stand up and defend it.

A century and a half ago, on the other side of the world, a young President said exactly what I mean. This is what Abraham Lincoln said in 1862, and I leave you with that:

The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must rise — with the occasion. As our case is new, so we must think anew, and act anew. We must disenthrall ourselves, and then we shall save our country.

It is five to twelve. Freedom must win, we have to win and we will win.”

My husband Rabbi Meir Kahane founded the Jewish Defense League precisely 40 years ago in New York City. He did so in response to a rise in violent crimes committed by African Americans who were doubtlessly reacting to difficult socioeconomic conditions.

Nevertheless, crimes like purse snatching and muggings were an everyday event. Robberies increased 70 percent from 1967 to 1968, and assaults went up 25%. Like many New Yorkers, I never went out at night alone, and when I shopped I kept my cash in an inside pocket. New York City was typical of other American cities. In fact, in 1967 and 1968, blacks rioted in over 150 cities in the United States.

Black - and Puerto Rican - crime often had distinctly anti-Semitic overtones. In New York City, Jewish teachers were assaulted in the public schools, cemeteries were desecrated and synagogues defaced and firebombed. Jewish neighborhoods were hit the hardest because Jews and minorities often lived side-by-side and Jews had a reputation for not fighting back.

The JDL aimed to change the image of Jews from patsies to fighters. Meir often said, "To turn the other cheek is not in our Bible." So the JDL organized classes in judo, karate and riflery, and its members patrolled high-crime areas.

The media were intrigued by Jews who defied the Jewish stereotype. Newspapers, TV and radio carried reports about the JDL's training camp, and about its daring confrontations to protect Jewish teachers and shopkeepers. JDL chapters were formed in cities throughout America.The JDL also opposed preferential quotas in college admissions and employment. We maintained that quotas discriminated against Jews, whose hard-won advancement was based on merit.Meir challenged the quotas in the courts, and to publicize their unfairness, JDL members picketed the offices of the New York Mets baseball team. They carried signs demanding that the Mets hire enough Jews to make up 26.2% of their roster - the percentage of Jews in the city at the time.
WHILE MIDDLE and lower-class Jews appreciated JDL efforts to counter crime and discrimination, leaders of the Jewish establishment were only concerned with maintaining their respectable image. They called Meir a rabble-rouser and termed the JDL a vigilante group.

It hurt to hear my husband insulted, but I knew they were wrong. Regular police protection was inadequate, and American cities had become jungles. No one could deny the need for self-defense groups. Leaders of the Jewish establishment never had to walk alone at night in a rough neighborhood.

That establishment's oft-repeated criticism was that the JDL's violent means were "un-Jewish."

Meir refuted this: "...From the days that our father Abraham went to battle against the four kings in order to save his nephew Lot, to the moment that Moses smote an Egyptian rather than create a committee to study the root causes of Egyptian anti-Semitism; from the Maccabees... to the students of Rabbi Akiva who were sent from their studies to fight in Bar Kochba's army... Jewish leadership has taken an active and violent part in the struggle for freedom."

THE IDEALS that Meir taught JDL members were based on Torah. An important tenet was ahavat Yisrael, loving one's fellow Jews and helping them. Ahavat Yisrael motivated JDL patrols and confrontations, and it applied to any Jew in trouble, even one far away in the Soviet Union.

During the Cold War, there was no contact with Soviet Jews. Only in 1964 did information begin to leak out about their oppression. Circumcision was forbidden, and it was illegal to teach a Jewish child about his religion or to bake matzot for Pessah. No Soviet citizen was allowed to emigrate, so a Jew could not even practice his religion elsewhere. Official Soviet papers like Pravda fanned anti-Semitism by blaming the Jews for the Soviet Union's severe economic problems.

It was to solve their economic problems, and to buy American wheat at low prices, that the Soviets sought friendly relations with America. Meir saw the window of opportunity. He wrote:"...Wracked by economic problems, [the Soviet Union] desperately needs friendship with the United States... If we can challenge this era of good feeling... it is possible that the Soviets will consider it not worth the bother of persecuting their Jews...

"We must make headlines, and they are made only by audacious and dramatic activities. If need be, these activities cannot be confined to sweet respectability and legality... It is not a pleasant task... This is not a job for people who fear getting their hands soiled."
In 1964, when Meir wrote this, few were willing to "get their hands soiled." By 1970, however, JDL members were accustomed to disregard "respectability." They were ready to bring the plight of Soviet Jews to the attention of the American public.

They disrupted Soviet ballet performances with shouts of "Freedom for Jews" and "Let my people go." At a performance in Chicago, someone threw a tear gas bomb, forcing the audience of 3,500 to leave. In Philadelphia, mice were let loose in the auditorium. Jews held rowdy demonstrations, shouting "Two, four, six, eight, let our people emigrate!"

AFTER A demonstration that blocked a vital Manhattan intersection for 20 minutes, Meir was arrested. This was not his first arrest, and I had learned not to worry; he was usually out on bail in the morning. More important: an arrest brought media interest. That morning he told a nationwide NBC TV audience, "We lost 6 million Jews 25 years ago. We have no intention of losing three and a half million more to national genocide. There is not the slightest doubt that after 53 years, the Soviet-Jewish issue is now on page one."
Numerous dramatic JDL demonstrations did indeed put the issue on page one. They moved American public opinion to support basic freedoms for Soviet Jews, and this pressured the Soviet Union to release its Jews. Beginning in 1971, an average of 22,000 Jews emigrated each year.

In those years, "violent" JDL demonstrations for Soviet Jews were condemned by the establishment. Today, most people recognize the important role of the JDL. As Glenn Richter, director of the Student Struggle for Soviet Jewry, stated: "Rabbi Kahane propelled the issue of Soviet Jewry into the headlines in a way we, with our less confrontational demonstrations, could not."

Meir was right about self-defense and Soviet Jewry. Will it take another 40 years to realize that he was also right about much, much more?

Velvel's comments: Last week, terrorists threw two Molotov cocktails at the Jewish Agency representative's home at 2 a.m. while he was inside at Brown University (story virtually buried by the media). Now, arab teenage gangs are roaming the streets of New York City looking for lone Jews to attack.

When a young Rabbi is viciously attacked by arab thugs, the police try to excuse the behavior by comparing it to a teenage prank...like they didn't know that they were attacking a Jew and they didn't know what "allah akbar" meant.

That these arab cretins would even "think" of attacking a Jew in Brooklyn shows how far down the slope we have tumbled in the last 40 years. When Rabbi Kahane (OBM) was active in Brooklyn he had "Chaya Squads” comprised of tough young Jews who would settle the score (if you know what I mean). People knew better than to do their nazi dreck because there would be repercussions for such transgressions.

Well Chevera, I am here to tell you that I believe in my heart of hearts that this is only the beginning. It is time to organize in your own defense...or you can prepare yourselves for more stories such as the one below, but with much more serious and adverse outcomes. It's up to us to defend ourselves...the police cannot be there - in 99% of the cases, they only pick up the pieces and take the reports.

Lastly, I want to say Yasher Koach to Rabbi Uria Ohana for chasing down his assailant. Rabbi Ohana showed exemplary courage...let's hope that some of his Israeli persona rubs off on the rest of you.

A 25-year-old Israeli rabbinical assistant was assaulted by a group of Arab teenagers screaming "Allah akbar" in Brooklyn on Tuesday evening.

Uria Ohana, originally from Kfar Chabad, entered a subway station in the affluent Park Slope neighborhood in Brooklyn Tuesday evening, on his way to a lecture in Manhattan, when he noticed a group of Arab teenagers congregated on a bench in the station.
Ohana did not exchange words or make eye contact with the group, but proceeded upstairs to his train.

On his way, he felt someone grab his kippa from his head and then heard laughter. Ohana decided to chase the boys to retrieve his kippa.

The 18-year-old boy who grabbed the kippa left the subway station and ran into the street, where he was hit by a car, breaking his leg.

While Ohana chased the boy, the other teenagers began chasing him, screaming "Allah akbar."

"They screamed at me, 'Did you see what happened to him because of you?'" said Ohana, a Chabad-Lubavitch rabbinical assistant who works in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
Two of the Arab boys then started kicking and punching Ohana in the face.

"As soon as they started screaming, I understood [the attack] was racial," said Ohana.
The crime is being investigated as aggravated harassment and a possible bias crime, according to a New York Police Department spokeswoman. "I am almost sure it will be charged as a hate crime," said the spokeswoman.

"I'm sad that this kind of attack is coming to New York after seeing this in Israel," said Ohana. "An Arab teenager attacking a Jew for being a Jew scares me as a Jew."
Ohana said one police officer brushed the incident off as a case of a teenager who "doesn't know what 'Allah akbar' means.

"This scares me in a global context, Arabs taking national pride one step forward," said Ohana.

The youth who was hit by the car was taken to the Lutheran Medical Center to be treated for his broken leg and was placed under arrest. The other two boys fled the scene and have not yet been apprehended.

Below my comments is the article in the Jerusalem Post which reported this attempted murder of an Israeli representative.

Spontaneous…The Jerusalem Post has said that Israeli Authorities and the FBI believe that the firebombing attack on the home of the local representative of the Jewish Agency in Rhode Island was “Spontaneous”, hmmm??? Just what is the definition of “Spontaneous”? Very simply put, and according to the internet’s “Word Web”, Spontaneous means: “Said or done without having been planned or written in advance”

They said that Yossi Knafo’s, the Jewish Agencies representative for Rhode Island, house was firebombed at 0200 hours. The method of attack was by the use of not one, but TWO Molotov Cocktails and the perpetrators are supposed to be, get this…a “local group” who just happened to launch a “spontaneous” attack.

The preparation of a Molotov Cocktail takes premeditated planning and preparation (which is not “Spontaneous”). This was clearly a botched Terrorist Attack, the purpose of which was the murder of a Jew!

My main concern is why this has not only been ignored by the U.S. media, but why is it being played down in Israel? If my memory serves me correctly, didn’t Hassan Nasrallah, the chief terrorist for Hezbollah, along with the Iranian Putz, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad call for direct attacks and against Israelis “anywhere in the world”?

Isn’t it logical that if a bomb is thrown through the living room window of a Jewish home at 0200 that it was not simply a random “spontaneous” act? Oy vey! We might be dumb, but we ain’t stupid.

I see this omission in coverage as the Israeli Government (and the good ole embarrassed U.S. Government & CondiSleeza Rice) trying to put the lid on the story. This attitude is our carry-over from 1930s Europe when the political correctness of the day was “leave it alone…don’t do anything to call attention to ourselves!!!”. Then we were Sheeple…Today we should be the Sheep Dogs and Sheep Dogs protect the Sheep.

So I say… tell it like it is, we can take the heat because we’re already in the kitchen. I will also say this, isn’t it about time that we responded with this statement:

There will be no sanctuary for those who attack Jewish people, Jewish Institutions, or Jewish Interests anywhere in the world.

Israeli security officials believe Saturday's Molotov cocktail attack on the home of Jewish Agency emissary in Rhode Island Yossi Knafo was most likely perpetrated by a local group launching a spontaneous attack, The Jerusalem Post has learned.
No one was wounded in the attack, which took place just before 2 a.m. near the Brown University campus in Providence, Rhode Island. One firebomb hit an outside wall of the house and lit a fire in the yard, while a second firebomb passed through a window into the living room, but failed to explode.
Knafo, who was awake in the adjacent bedroom at the time of the attack, immediately alerted local police and Jewish Agency security personnel. He was transferred temporarily to a hotel.
Though the attack was spontaneous, "this marks a serious escalation," a source familiar with the case told the Post. "This isn't a threatening letter, a stone through the window or an anonymous phone call."
Security officials point to other spontaneous anti-Jewish attacks on American soil that had deadly results, such as the July 2006 shooting in the Seattle Jewish Federation and the 2002 shooting attack on an El Al ticket counter at the Los Angeles International Airport.
"This is terrorism in the full meaning of the term," said the source.
Police and the FBI had opened an investigation into the attack. A neighbor reportedly told law enforcement officials that she had seen two unidentified individuals near the house at the time. The unexploded cocktail was being examined for fingerprints and other possible clues to the identity of the assailants.
The Jewish Agency's security apparatus in North America was on alert after the attack, and the Post has confirmed that agency personnel are in contact with the individual detectives handling the case in the FBI and local police.
The context for the attack is as yet unclear. Knafo has said he knew of no reason anyone would target his home, while Amos Hermon, a member of the Jewish Agency Executive and chair of its Task Force on Anti-Semitism, echoed other agency officials in noting the attack may mark an unparalleled escalation of anti-Israel campus activism.
"This is unprecedented," said Hermon. "A Jewish Agency emissary hasn't been attacked in America for decades, and we've never known a Molotov cocktail attack that came from anti-Israel or anti-Semitic groups."
As a semi-official organization, the Jewish Agency is a "protected entity," the security of which is under the purview of the Israel Security Agency (ISA), which coordinates security for Israeli representation overseas.
Agency officials, including Hermon, cite tensions that may have risen over the weekend due to a massive Jewish Agency campaign on dozens of university campuses and in hundreds of synagogues and schools in the US and worldwide to commemorate the March 6 terror attack on Jerusalem's Mercaz Harav Yeshiva which killed eight students.
The agency has also received warnings from Israeli security services over possible retaliation attacks in the wake of the assassination in Damascus of Hizbullah mastermind Imad Mughniyeh on February 12. At the time, Israeli officials welcomed Mughniyeh's death, but did not claim responsibility for the operation.
Following the Saturday attack, hundreds of Jewish Agency emissaries throughout the US and Canada were briefed on the event and its security implications.

Yonatan Eldar HY"D of Shilo, and only 16, a junior in high school, was one those martyrs killed.

He lived next door to the Yerushalmi family, whose son Shmu'el Efraim HY"D survived the attack on another yeshiva high school, "Hitzim," six years ago, only to be killed himself a month later at the Givat Tzarfatit (French Hill) bombing, where I was the last one to see him.

I can't get Yonatan's face out of my mine: blond hair, glasses. He was only a student of mine for a short while, four years ago. He was only in the sixth grade, yet the principal and all of the teachers had to call upon him to install and operate software, or even fix their computers. He was that bright.

I just sat next to him in a tremp the other day. He was telling me that was studying at Yeshivah leTze'irim Yerushalayim [Yashla"tz], the Merkav HaRav associated High School, and most prestigious Religious Zionist yeshivah high school in the world.

I will miss you, Yonatan. May your blood be avenged!

When I go to visit your family, no doubt I will see more of my former students. It is a common custom for the martyr's classmates to sit with the family much of the time, and stay close by in the same town. They are after all like brothers.

Lately, I have bumped into many former students who are now serving in the Israeli Defense Forces [IDF]. I say to them "HaShem Yishmor Otcha" (May God watch over you).

From now on, I will have to remember to say this to every one I meet, even he's only on the way to school.

In yet another terrorist attack against Israelis, palestinian gunmen opened fire on two Border Police at the Ras Hamis pedestrian checkpoint which serves as a crossing between Shuafat refugee camp in East Jerusalem and the neighborhood of Pisgat Ze'ev in Jerusalem. One Border Policeman was fatally shot while his female partner was seriously wounded in the attack. One of the officer’s weapons is missing and it is presumed that it was taken by the terrorists.

What will the Government do about this, the latest in an ongoing series of attacks on Israelis? Probably nothing… They will not close the crossing because it would “inconvenience” the Arabs. Better just to send two more Border Police to man the checkpoint and hope that the next time the terrorists aren’t such good shots.

TWO MEN INDICTED IN FLORIDA

ON EXPLOSIVES CHARGES

WASHINGTON – Two University of South Florida (USF) students have been indicted by a federal grand jury in Tampa, Florida, for transporting explosives materials without permits, the Department of Justice announced today.
The two-count indictment unsealed today charges Ahmed Abdellatif Sherif Mohamed and Youssef Samir Megahed, both Egyptian nationals, with transporting explosives in interstate commerce without permits. The indictment alleges that the two men, “not being licensees” under federal law, “did knowingly transport and cause to be transported in interstate commerce explosive materials” on or about Aug. 4, 2007 in the Middle District of Florida and elsewhere. Mohamed was also charged with distributing information about building and using an explosive device. The indictment alleges that Mohamed taught and demonstrated the making and use of an explosive and destructive device, with the intent that such information be used for, and in the furtherance of, an activity that constitutes a federal crime of violence.
Mohamed, a civil engineering graduate student and teaching assistant at USF, and Megahed, an engineering student, were stopped for speeding and subsequently arrested on Aug. 4, 2007 in Goose Creek, S.C. by a South Carolina Berkeley County Sheriff’s deputy. Both Mohamed and Megahed were charged with possession of an explosive device, in violation of South Carolina law. Bond was set for Mohamed in the amount of $500,000 and for Megahead in the amount of $300,000. Both men are currently being held in Berkeley County jail. The charges in the indictment are merely allegations, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. The charge of distributing information about explosive devices carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison, and the charge of transporting explosive materials carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.

Experiencing extreme intestinal discomfort, U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff said in Chicago last week that America faces a heightened chance of an attack this summer.

"I believe we are entering a period this summer of increased risk," Chertoff told the Chicago Tribune's editorial board in a blunt assessment of America's terror threat level.
"Summer-time seems to be appealing to them," he said of al-Qaeda. "We do worry that they are rebuilding their activities."

Chertoff indicated his remarks were based on "a gut feeling" formed by past seasonal patterns of terrorist attacks, recent al-Qaeda statements, and intelligence he did not disclose.
Days before Chertoff made this announcement; ABC News reported that a secret law enforcement report prepared for homeland security warns that al-Qaeda is preparing a "spectacular" summer attack.

On Tuesday, ABC News also reported that "new intelligence suggests a small al-Qaeda cell is on its way to the United States, or may already be here."

Adding more fuel to the mounting fears, FBI Director Robert Mueller confirmed to NewsMax that al-Qaeda intends to detonate a nuclear device that would kill millions of Americans. He said that the threat is so real he lies awake at night thinking about the effects of such an attack.

The administration of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has voted to release 250 convicted Arab terrorists. Even though a handful of cabinet ministers voted against the treasonous move, they are just as responsible. These cowards should have resigned from their positions in protest but instead are worried about keeping their seats in the corrupt Olmert government. Olmert claims the release is in "good faith"? He knows that this maneuver won't insure the release of Gilad Shalit, Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser. How much more "kissing up" to world opinion do the people of Israel have to endure? The wheels of this treasonous move have to be halted NOW! If not, these terrorist filled busses must be stopped. This current Israeli administration must be disbanded for criminal acts against the Jewish people and tried for treason under Halacha (Jewish law). It's time for all noble Jews to take a stand and stop the release of these killers, Muslim cowards who hide behind their women and children knowing that the IDF will not fire into civilian populations to avoid collateral damage. "There's Only One Punishment for Treason!"

"But what will you do if they start to use the Kalashnikovs you're providing them against Jews?" was the question posed to then treacherous Prime Minister Rabin. "We'll confiscate them," was the insane reply of the most reviled prime minister in recent memory.

Since that infamous hand-shake with the master terrorist on the White House lawn with Rabin, what has occurred and what have we learned?

Well, for starters, history repeated itself in the face of the Jews as the "Palestinians" started their "intifada", killing and maiming thousands of Jews. Our "peace" partners not only used their guns on us and encouraged the rest of the Arab world to do likewise, they are taking money and spoils from the Jewish state as they ponder how to kill us.

We do not under any circumstances blame the Arabs. It is their job to make life difficult for Jews and to try to kill them. Whom then, should we blame? Of course, the insane Israeli politicians. What have we learned? That a fifth column exists in the Israel body politic composed of traitors and bureaucrats of every stripe, seeking to dismantle and emasculate the State.

What to do? Anyone who voted to hand over 250 insidious, murderous dogs, who admit that they would kill again, needs to be rounded up, locked up, and have his passport confiscated until we get to the bottom of this tragedy. If the whole Knesset is guilty, so be it. These individuals have lost their privilege to be part of Klal Yisrael. Not to mention the outrageous transgression of the mitzvah, "do not stand by your brother's blood."


Any Arab that gets out of line will pay with his property being sold and money given straight to the victims' families. Afterwards they'll be immediately deported. That will stop the killing frenzy.

Jewish leftists, such as the present prime minister and Jewish apologists and Jewish turncoats need to be dealt with for the common good. Why? BECAUSE NO COUNTRY CAN WITHSTAND FIGHTING A BRUTAL ENEMY FROM WITHOUT, WHILE "LEADERS" ACTIVELY SEEK TO DESTROY A HOME FOR OVER 6 MILLION JEWS .

Again, in any normal country, this would matter would be dealt with before a firing squad. But not Israel! Here, Arab and Jewish traitors lie in bed together, figuring out the best way to destroy the Zionist "dream". It's all about a Jewish sickness called "guilt". After all, if we don't lie down like sheep before the slaughter, then what will the world think of us? They might get angry, and stop doling out their foreign aid and Nobel "peace" prizes! So what about the millions of Israelis living in bomb shelters for months on end. So what about the thousands in Sderot and southern Negev population centers terrorized by Kasam rockets fired by Nazis wearing kaffiyehs, what does it matter? Make concern: that George and Condi don't get up tight and start up with us!

Enough! Round up the traitors now!! Before there is more Jewish blood-letting. Better to have the whole world hate Israel, than an Auschwitz that arouses compassion. Stand up! Wake up! Now!!

Palestinian Mamzers Fire on Elderly Coupel

Qassam hits elderly couple's home

Islamic Jihad cell fires two rockets at western Negev; no one wounded but two houses and a factory damaged. Regional council head says 'scandalous' government has not yet started program to shield homes

Palestinians in Gaza fired two Qassam rockets into the western Negev late Friday, one of which hit the home of an elderly couple.

A third rocket was fired Saturday afternoon and landed in an open area near Sderot. No casualties or damages were reported.

Late Friday the first rocket slammed through the roof of a house where an elderly couple lived, then ricocheted into the yard of the neighboring home, where it exploded. No one was wounded, but the rocket caused severe damage to both houses.

A second rocket landed on the premises of the Kal-Katif factory and damaged a storage container. The al-Quds Martyrs' Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, claimed responsibility for the attacks. Yoav Peled, security officer for the Shaar Hanegev regional council, told Ynet it was a miracle no one was hurt. "The Qassam accelerated when it hit the concrete roof of the elderly couple's home. They were awake when it hit and luckily weren't hurt. Due to the acceleration, the rocket continued on into the neighbors' yard, where it exploded and shattered all the house's windows," Peled said. The couple spent the night at a guest house on the kibbutz where they live, due to the severe damage to their house. They did not need any medical treatment and did not suffer shock.

Alon Schuster, head of the Shaar Hanegev regional council, said, "The Islamic Jihad launched the rocket to tell the prime minister (Ehud Olmert) that time and statistics weren't in his favor. Instead of telling Gaza perimeter residents that there's no such thing as 100 percent security, Olmert should do what he personally promised me and the other council heads – and shield the houses right away."

"It's scandalous. The program has been dragging for six months, and now we hear that it may even be cancelled. I demand of the new defense minister (Ehud Barak) that he join our demands and bring up the matter this Sunday at the cabinet meeting. There are people here whose lives need to be protected," he declared.

Jaysh Al-Islam to Hamas's 'Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades: Announce Establishment of an Islamic Emirate in Gaza

On June 20, 2007, Islamist websites posted a 13-minute video message titled "A Message from Jaysh Al-Islam to 'Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades." In it, a veiled speaker congratulates the 'Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades on their recent takeover of the Gaza Strip, saying: "We would like to convey our happiness at [the actions of] our brothers in the Izz Al-Qassam Brigades against the treacherous apostates [i.e. Fatah] who used to control the apparatuses which spied... on Muslim mujahideen in Palestine. And we ask Allah to complete their [task] on the way to implementing Islamic shari'a and imposing the rule of Allah..."

The speaker then asserts that if 'Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam announces "the establishment of an Islamic emirate in the Gaza Strip, Jaysh Al-Islam and its soldiers will be ready to serve the Islamic Emirate's army... as long as [this emirate] rules according to Allah's scripture and the sunna of the Messenger of Allah..."

The speaker goes on to implore the 'Izz Al-Din Al-Qassan Brigades not to pressure Jaysh Al-Islam to release kidnapped BBC correspondent Alan Johnston unless the conditions for his release as set by Jaysh Al-Islam are met.  "We captured him [i.e. Johnston] based only on the religious considerations of our respected 'ulama... Our brothers in Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam, are you hurt by the fact that we strive to release Muslim prisoners? Do you know what our brothers experience in British jails? Therefore, we ask you and everyone who wishes to make the banner of Allah supreme to work [with us] hand in hand, to unite under one banner, and to speak in one voice under the flag of 'there is no God but Allah' in an Islamic emirate... It is not worth spilling even one drop of Muslim blood in a fight among us for the sake of this infidel [i.e., Johnston]..."

The speaker then warns that pressuring Jaysh Al-Islam to release Johnston without the demands being met will force the organization to "slaughter this correspondent."

In response to a question by journalists, the veiled speaker states: "Many among our nation think that the Jaysh Al-Islam Organization is under the control of one family or one person. We stress that Jaysh Al-Islam does not stand for one person or family, but rather is the army of Islam and the Muslims in general..."

Al-Qaeda Deputy Ayman Al-Zawahiri Calls on Hamas to Enforce the Shari'a in Gaza; Urges Mujahideen to Attack Zionist Interests Throughout the World

On June 25, 2007, Al-Sahab posted an audio message by Ayman Al-Zawahiri titled "40 Years after the Fall of Jerusalem." In his address, Al-Zawahiri says that the 1967 defeat in Jerusalem, and the repeated Arab failures since then, result from the Arabs' rejection of Islam and their reliance on the infidels. He reminds Hamas that the goal of its takeover of Gaza should be to enforce the law of Allah, and urges it to join ranks with the mujahideen around the world in order to repel the attack on Gaza, that is sure to come soon. In addition, he calls on the mujahideen throughout the world to extend military and economic assistance to Hamas, and to attack "Zionist interests" everywhere.


Alan Johnston Video Appeal

On June 25, 2007, Islamist websites posted a video titled "Alan's Appeal," in which the adducted British journalist Alan Johnston, dressed in what appears to be an explosive belt, implores Hamas and the British government not to attempt his release by force, as this will prompt his captors to kill him.

Al-Qaeda in Egypt Urges Mujahideen to Attack "Zionist-Crusader" Interests in Egypt

On June 24, 2007, Islamist websites posted a communiqué by Al-Qaeda in Egypt, signed by Muhammad Khalil Al-Hakaymah. In the communiqué, Al-Hakaymah congratulates Hamas on its recent takeover of Gaza, which "liberated Palestine from the claws of the collaborators."  He calls upon the mujahideen in Egypt to assist Hamas by attacking all "Zionist-Crusader" forces, by uprooting any "military or civilian Zionist presence in Egypt," and by attacking "Zionist-Crusader" interests in the country.


Commander of Al-Qaeda in Yemen: Jihad in Yemen Will Continue Until the Last Crusader is Expelled From the Arabian Peninsula

On June 20, 2007, Islamist websites posted a 21-minute audio recording by Abu Hurairah Al-San'ani, a commander of Al-Qaeda in Yemen,(1) in which he denies reports that his organization is holding talks with the Yemeni government.

Al-San'ani first states that it was the top commander of Al-Qaeda in Yemen, Nasser Al-Wahaishi (nicknamed Abu Basir), who ordered him to deny these claims. Next, he says that those who collaborate with the Crusaders in Afghanistan, Iraq and the Saudi Peninsula repeatedly try to persuade the mujahideen to negotiate with their enemies "in order to rescue the Crusaders from the dead end into which they have gotten themselves... and in order to extinguish the flame of jihad... but Allah has protected our brothers from this pitfall which leads to hell." The jihad fighters, he adds, have been advised to turn over a new leaf by stopping their jihad and turning themselves in, but they will not. Rather, jihad will continue until the last of the infidels is expelled from the Arabian Peninsula – especially since victory is near, and the president of Yemen "is now breathing his last [breath] after his battle [against the mujahideen] in Sa'dah and [due to] his government's corruption."

Finally, Abu Hurairah calls on the jihad fighters to join ranks, and not to be tempted to cooperate with the Yemeni government, because "today, both East and West are terrified of the jihad fighters, so there is no need for concessions... [Jihad] is the command of the hour [and will continue to be] until the day of judgment."

Jaysh Al-Islam Threatens an All-Out War Against Hamas if It Continues to Press for the Release of Alan Johnston

On June 27, 2007, Islamist websites posted a communiqué issued in the name of Jaysh Al-Islam, the Palestinian organization which kidnapped BBC's Alan Johnston, in the wake of the recent kidnapping of two of its own members by Hamas, which is exerting pressure upon Jaysh Al-Islam to release Johnston. In the communiqué, Jaysh Al-Islam reiterated that if its demands are not met, "[Johnston] will remain in captivity for 1,000 years, or will be slaughtered like a lamb." It warned Hamas that if the latter continues in its aggression, Jaysh Al-Islam would respond in kind by declaring an all-out war on Hamas.

The following are excerpts from the communiqué:

"'Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades had the audacity to kidnap two Jaysh Al-Islam Jihad fighters, as they were returning from morning prayers at the mosque. The two are Field Commander Abu 'Ubeidah Dughmush and Jihad fighter Abu Al-Majid Habib...

"...Our demand [of the British government] is patently clear: Release our three prisoners – Sajda [Al-Rishawi], Abu Qatada Al-Falastini, and Abu Muhammad Al-Muqadassi – and we will release the prisoners held by us. This is not up for discussion or negotiations. He will remain in captivity for 1,000 years, or will be slaughtered like a lamb...

"Hamas members and [members of' 'Izz Al-Din] Al-Qassam, be mindful of Allah [when] human lives [are at stake.] How [will you explain] to Allah [in the world to come] and in your newspapers that you were killed for the sake of an infidel? [And what] if you release the prisoner, and Sajda is then executed? Her blood will be on your hands...

"We have not started a war against anyone, but... [if we have no alternative,] we will act upon the Islamic law of self-defense... To the jurisprudents who stray from the straight path, we say: 'If you dare [to sanction] the killing of people whose lives are protected by Islamic law, or [harm] their property, or their honor... we will respond in kind... and destroy you immediately...'"


Kataib Thawrat Al-'Ishrin Threatens to Punish Anyone Who Has a Role in Ratifying the New Oil Law

On June 26, 2007 an Islamist website posted a press release signed by the Iraqi organization Kata'ib Thawrat Al-Ishrin, a Sunni military organization which did not join the ISI. In the statement, the organization warns that it will punish any person who is involved in ratifying the new Oil Law, recently submitted to the parliament, a law that the organization describes as "designed to steal the wealth of our land."

Fath Al-Islam:  Al-Qaeda's Silence Has Killed Us

On June 26, 2007, Islamist websites posted a written message by Abu Dajana Al-Shami – supposedly a member of Fath Al-Islam – to ISI War Minister Abu Hamza Al-Muhajir. In the message, Al-Shami complains that Al-Qaeda has not expressed support for Fath Al-Islam in its battle against the Lebanese army in Nahr Al-Bared, despite the fact that Fath Al-Islam has pledged allegiance to Al-Qaeda. Al-Shami adds that Al-Qaeda's silence has been frustrating for the mujahideen, especially since the events in Gaza, unlike the fighting in Nahr Al-Bared, have been repeatedly mentioned by Al-Zawahiri in his recent messages. A word from Al-Qaeda, Al-Shami stresses, would have had real impact on the youth of Al-Sham (i.e., Greater Syria – a region encompassing Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Israel and the Palestine), but its silence "has killed Fath Al-Islam without a knife."


ISI Video: Message to the American People

On June 28, 2007, Islamist websites posted a video titled "Message from the Islamic State [of Iraq] to the American People," issued by the Global Islamic Media Front (GIMF). The video, which is part of the ISI's "Battar Media Raid to Defend the Islamic State [of Iraq],"(2) combines excerpts from two previously posted films – an Al-Furqan clip showing an attack on an American Hummer in Iraq, and an Al-Sahab video featuring an address by Adam Yahya to the American people. The video also incorporates excerpts from an audio recording by bin Laden in which he says to the U.S.: "[Just] as you threaten our security, we threaten yours."
