Chronicles I - 16:15-18: "Forever remember His covenant that he commanded forever; That He made with Abraham and swore to Isaac; and confirmed in a decree for Jacob, for Israel, as an eternal covenant; saying to You I will give the Land of Cannan as your alloted heritage"

Prayer for Members of the Israel Defense Force
He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our God from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.
May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your God, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.
Now let us respond: Amen.

WELCOME TO PONGO ISRAELI T-SHIRTS & ISRAELI ARMY T-SHIRTS ISRAEL ARMY SURPLUS
Made in Israel and Shipped Directly to You
While doing IDF (Israel Defence Forces) reserve duty on a mountain overlooking the Biblical city of Shechem (Nablus), someone showed me a week old newspaper showing how warm hearted supporters of Israel were sending gifts of Pizzas to front line soldiers, to show appreciation for their sacrifices and efforts protecting Jewish lives. The idea sounded good... it actually sounded mouth-watering. But then we thought- how many years had we been doing annual reserve duty in this area, and never once received such a gift? After a while, back home (we live in the Elon Moreh community overlooking Shechem)- we checked the story out. Why do no pizzas get to the soldiers around Shechem? Apparently because there is a shortage of bullet-proof armored pizza delivery trucks- no one from Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, or Netanya was going to drive into the heart of the Shomron (Samaria) to make a delivery! Then we thought a little further: Now we live here, and certainly aren't afraid to make deliveries. And there are small, family run pizza stands in Elon Moreh, Har Bracha and Kedumim- Jewish communities surrounding Shechem. Why not take this great idea and put it into practice here, in the heart of Israel?
So that is how www.shechem.org/pizza was born! We will try to keep this as simple as possible:
